Ask it to “prove how a martingale converges to the zariski measure on a commutative scheme.” Totally absurd question, totally absurd answer.

Are you spending time outside? Walking around, jogging, meeting people, breathing? Get out. It helps to think better. How long are you working daily? More than 8h is wrong wrong wrong. Rest, relax, get out.

The best way to understand that GPT has no true sense of anything is asking it something absurd from a fringe but well defined subject (i.e. high-level maths). Prompt examples (as homework), one after another. > Please explain why a gaus

What is the best interest of the shareholders though? Is it “now” (this quarter) or is it “the future” (say 5 years’ time). Or is it a several variables problem in which there is no “optimum”?

No: Cristianism, in that sense, only tells you that this life is not all . Not simply that “there is a better one”. As a matter of fact, redeeming the time means precisely making the most of it.

Unbelievable behavior “You have our apologies” (by this time I would have had a heart attack being the controller), “Thank you” (not a single bad word or insinuation from the pilot). What people!

In Dune they repeat the mantra “fear is the mind killer”. In real life it is anxiety: that is the true mind killer, which prevents you from taking that “step back” because there is always something pressing up. Do get some help and do not e

You are probably right. As a matter of fact, I was hesitant to use the term “depression” but did not know how to frame it right. Your view is more plausible. Medical help, for sure.

It’s not relativity. Einstein pushed first for the american atom bomb because “the germans will make it anyway”. Then he realised that it was way too harmful and recanted. Nothing to do with relativity, just with “if I don’t do it others wi

The “thesis” he speaks about only needs one example to hold, and he is it. So, not much of a “thesis” but a data point. It is possible to survive a shark attack. Well, yes, but do not count on my to try.

The minimum k is the denominator of the supposed irreducible fraction p/q=sqrt(2). He is stating that then there is a different irreducible fraction r/s=sqrt(2). This is because you would have p^2=2q^2 with p and q mutually prime,
