The better magnesium forms (like citrate) tend to be very voluminous. They might not want to make multivitamin pills large because people tend not to like that. That's my personal hypothesis. (People who have decided that they want mag

The 50% or so difference is when both batteries are new. From what I've read Li-ion degrade faster than LiFePO4, so the difference becomes smaller over time (and might even reverse, but I don't have actual data).

And when we run out of clues what AI can't do yet, it's AGI? (You imply that a "can't do yet" will remain forever, which is the open question. If you ask me, AGI is only possible if the tech has ~unlimited agency, w

I see a safety hazard with the exposed battery terminals (as shown in the picture "A 12 Volt 230 Ah lead-acid battery"). AFAIK, lead-acid batteries are less powerful than Li-ion/LFP but would probably still start a fire or gi

Why do you think the Pi is powered via the inverter? I can't see mention of this, and the picture of their setup shows the Pi being powered by a step-down from 12 V.

I guess "won't be big and professional like gnu" can only be said once innocently. :) (To be fair, the tech landscape may be sufficiently different that the same won't happen again, too.)

I had MacOS 9, so that, performance, may have been part of it. Seems MOL emulated an MMU. Although, IIRC I ended up disabling virtual memory / swapping inside MacOS, and just give the emulated Mac more RAM, because doing the swapping p

There's also Mac-on-Linux (MOL), which I've been using from ~1999 to run the original OS under Linux on my Mac hardware until I dropped Mac OS completely a few years later. It does require a PPC host. I remember back then MOL was

Avoiding floating point doesn't imply BCD. Any representation for integers would do fine, including binary. There are two reasons for BCD, (1) to avoid the cost of division for conversion to human readable representation as implied in
