It's clearly a joke in the vein of being able to recreate Dropbox with an FTP account, curlftpfs, and SVN/CVS.

I love this, and the post made a complex topic easy to follow for a mere mortal like me. Including images of tables with no alt text is a bit of a barrier though, especially when the company is called Cognition.

There's a gov.uk wallet app and digital service in beta already. I don't think it does very much yet. https://www.gov.uk/wallet It's backed by gov.uk one login, which is already a database that contains a fai

I guess it depends on the style of serrated edge. But if you look at commercial tomato knives you'll see they're all serrated.

Yeah if it's sharp enough it'll be fine. All tomato knives are serrated though, they glide through allowing thin, delicate slices. https://sabre-paris.co.uk/collections/tomato-knife

Were you cutting tomatoes with a serrated knife? If not, you should be - they do a far better job.

For me it was because I'm right handed and if I was holding a gun with both hands I'd move my right hand down to aim up. It just makes sense that way. I can't adjust.

I've not found anything better. I still use my 2019 X1 Carbon, it still gets firmware updates frequently and has been rock solid. Everything worked out of the box with Linux except the fingerprint reader. About a fortnight after I boug

Despite its name, only 45% of London Underground is underground. As I recall only 3 or 4 lines are entirely subterranean, most run on the surface once they are out of the centre.

Ah thanks. I did a quick search before posting and this article was listed as from 2019, but that was when it was last updated - it did just happen once in 2012. https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/09/mark-shuttlewort
