This is where Cucumber is great. I know it doesn't get much love on here, but a feature per requirement is a good level to start at. I'd recommend using `Examples` tables for testing each combination. Having your features run on e

Sorry what is Sim City 4000? Is it a mobile game or are you referring to Sim City 4? Or was SC4 called different things in other markets?

All databases should offer an --i-am-a-dummy mode, and probably enable it by default in clients. It prevents you from running update or delete statements that don't have a where clause. https://dev.mysql.com/doc/re

The problem is that even if it's not Ruby's problem directly, people who don't know the ecosystem will still get stuck along the way. Every Ruby developer I know users rbenv, rvm or asdf to manage their versions and take the

I like both COC and CMP (native). COC is way easier to set up and the default config is fine. CMP is lighter and more configurable, and it works really nicely with luasnip (my snippet engine of choice). Under the hood they both use the same

From a company that intentionally broke text editing on mobile to force people to install the Messenger app, I wouldn't use it even if it was great.

If you lock your password manager with a hardware security key, you get the best of both worlds. The NFC Yubikey works well in this niche.

Interesting, the ease of editing syntax highlighting rules is something I hadn't considered. It feels like lots of editors are moving to Tree-sitter so things may improve in that regard.

Which features of Npp are you struggling to find in other editors? I used Npp a bit a decade ago when I had to work with Windows but it didn't really have any stand out features (not a complaint, it worked perfectly for what I needed).
