The same effect is used for Bahtinov focusing masks. From what i know, all light will bend around the structures, but stars are bright and focused enough to see; in theory galaxies would too

Fwiw, i have a site with nearly zero content or users; randomly it got ddos'd one day, and never happened again. I think the reasons for a ddos can be wide ranging, from just testing, to nation state, to someone is unhappy with your fo

It'd be great to hike with one; I've heard a some of the Appalachian Mountain Club huts have telescopes. On the subject of viewing targets, I unexpectedly found Globular Clusters to be really neat. As your eyes adjust, the stars j

Celestron makes a clamp for the eyepiece->phone, with little xyz adjustment pinions; imho is worth the money, especially compared to an upgraded photography rig. Eventually I got a Fuji X-T20, which is plenty of resolution, though I'

Its actually a big change, as swiping up just opens the Google Maps bottom menu. The home row replaces gesture nav (which I can't stand...another UI feature they've been slowing pushing) My current workaround is to trampoline off

But thats also just what they're trying to advertise. They always make more changes than listed. And its the sneaky ones that get through...like when I upgraded to 15 my home button no longer exists when the screen is locked, which eff

I have an older garmin gps18x I use for ntp and it gets fantastic reception from a window shaded by trees. I wanted to test a monitor script so I stuffed it in a metal can, capped with a thick plate, and used excessive tinfoil to seal...If

Neat they did this, but the article is devoid of nearly anything technically interesting or descriptive, which is disappointing on a JPL site. Someone thought maybe "a switch" got flipped, so they flipped it. Fascinating.

I wonder what the reasonable balance between reuse and over exposure is; I'd think you would want less keys per device, and have less key overlap (ie more keys overall.) But forty two sounds high, and isn't it now just 42x more at

In some cases, yes. An unknown threat, potentially from the supposed nation-state target itself, has a very high risk. I'm not versed in creating ultra-sterile lab conditions -- things can escape VMs, escape your network, nothing is im
