I can't speak from experience, but driving a tractor on the field has an entirely different set of challenges compared to your regular car trip.

This is great news for those who have to live with disabilities. Maybe soon I won't feel guilty for leaving my alt attributes empty.

So those prosthetic arms and wheelchairs are of useless design, but let's praise Facebook and Google for treating humans as humans?

That's absolutely true, but again, my perception is that the company backing the project is very fragile. Also the tools they produce are an order of magnitude better than their main product, which I can't wrap my head around eith

I must say, there is one concern that keeps me away from using otherwise great Facebook technologies like Phabricator and React is that I don't believe Facebook will be here in 5 or 10 years. What will happen to these projects if that

Folks, I figured it out! Let's use captcha so that visitors can prove they are robots! If you fail these captchas, you must certainly be a human!

GP read the title as if it talked about the creator of Qt. Though "3.1.0" is a strange name for a guy or gal. ;)

Not only that, but the interface is always a huge part of any product that's simple under the hood, and I'm going to check it out and evaluate right now...

Considering Py2.7, Py3 is actually an "other language". Why would all these people throw out their Python expertise?

Why would downvote for disagreeing? GP is actually a well written comment, and very much deserves the upvote.

Bret Victor - The Future of Programming http://vimeo.com/71278954 He actually speaks about a potential alternative present. ;) Absolutely ruined the box I was thinking in.

You are in analysis paralysis. There will be no perfect solution. If you think WordPress is heavy, you never really had serious requirements for content management anyway. My suggestion? Stick with what you know.

It's not fair because PHP came way earlier than Jinja2. Both Twig and Jinja2 could learn from its predecessors.

It's not fair to compare to compare pure PHP and Jinja2. Twig is the PHP-equivalent of Jinja2, and it is an extremely well designed templating engine.

To be fair, most search engines do not support filtering by date range and ordering. I know it was added to Google but then most features seem to be jumping around there.

Tell me about it. I am constantly surprised by how close I need to get to the target in low light conditions to realize it is really not what I earlier recognized it to be. It usually makes me wish I could enable some sort of Splinter Cell

Unfortunately, this is precisely the only thing PHP was invented for. It is a templating engine planned to be used exactly how you quoted. Everything else is just accidental complexity.
