I particularly enjoyed the writing style in this article, largely because of the extent that the author provided unverified and loose figures in the article - cputime distributions etc. My experience is usually people are extremely hesitant

Because you asked - I think the main thing that impeded my ability to quickly understand Intercooler.js's functionality was the excessive use of jargon. I don't see why you even mention 'PVC', 'declarative' [1]

Any timer is constrained to the resolution set by the system timer. To go lower one would require something akin to a spin-loop, which defeats any gain by keeping the resolution high.
