in 2 years or less, Go, Swift, Rust will be 1/3 of the frontend code I'm not sure the author understands exactly how much frontend code already exists. Maybe he means all frontend code "currently in development"

For all of those who are so amazed at the current state of technology in the world, it's articles like these that help bring us back to Earth. It was less than 100 years ago that we thought it was a good idea to (1) put lead in paint,

Looks like this guy is pretty polarizing. Wasn't trying to troll here. Rather, I'm just really not very knowledgeable in this area, and was interested in hearing opinions here on what he's trying to explain.

Once technology allows us to more completely bridge the communication gap between humans and animals I think we'll realize that animals have been communicating amongst themselves in sophisticated ways for a long time and they won'

I'd say these days "knowing" something is far less important than being able to "learn" something. If I'm ever in a position where I'm responsible for technical interviews I'm pretty sure I'll gi

To my way of thinking, this makes a ton of sense. I don't think Darwin got it right. It's not "survival of the fittest". It's "survival of that which can find its place in an ecosystem".

Maybe it's the wrong thing to get from this, but I'm imagining that in this scenario, in the US, one man's property is in most cases more valuable than another man's existence?

Thank you for the feedback. Interesting info. I definitely think my question was not as precise as I was looking for. I definitely get the "right leaning" vs "left leaning" dichotomy. I'm wondering more about the

I was a philosophy major. The first few sentences struck a chord with me. I had a discussion with a professor. We were discussing Plato. He questioned why I was having issues with the topics being taught. I told him "because he (P

I think I see some flaws in how we automatically label a company's value based on how much an investor is willing to invest. Why isn't a startup's "value" pegged to real metrics? So in that sense, an investor is f

I think, at its core, the reason a co-founder is suggested is a person's internal dialogue is often different than the dialogue they have with others. Probably different parts of the brain (at least in part) get used when we speak wit

It still boggles my mind, but I honestly believe that there is something beyond our own universe. The other thing that trips me up but I can conceptualize is the idea that there may be things that had no beginning and will have no end. T
