I've been using Github long enough that I have my first name (not a terribly uncommon name) as a username. I have no idea what it even means to follow somebody on github. Why? I use github to host my code, to collaborate with others. I

What's better about bottom navigator bar than top? I honestly have no idea which one is better, but after having it at the top (and all other applications seem to have their menu/nav on the top as well) for YEARS, it's a ver

Does Pulp have proper support for Debian packages by now? Last I looked, it didn't supported signing repositories (and these days, it's basically impossible to get an unsigned repo into a Debian system).

Funny thing is: once you travel with a baby, basically anything goes. 1L water bottle? no questions asked. Even though the baby won't drink 1L of water on a 2-hours flight. The whole restriction on liquids is fairly ridiculous, and e

The notion that you need a cloud login for a piece of computer periphery to work is just unacceptable to me. "Want to print a page on your locally, USB-Connected printer? Log in at hp.com".

If you're doing async IO, I strongly recommend using a library that abstracts much of the pain away, like libuv. Deal with just the libc functions (or system calls) is a way too low level API for many applications.
