I doesn't forward by default, but for the off-chance that some wildcard rules in your .ssh/config do enable it, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Awesome! Just remember to use `ssh -a` (disabled SSH agent forwarding) when talking to untrusted systems. Edit to add: by default, ssh doesn't forward the SSH agent, but that can be changed by config. Doesn't hurt to add the -a.

If I remember correctly, rust compiles to static binaries by default, meaning they include a copy of all used parts of both libraries and standard library in the executable. Does that mean that any Rust program compiled with any affected ve

If it's true, there's this funny situation where the exchange/banking software didn't require 2FA to withdraw funds, BUT their monitoring noticed this situation. So their monitoring is smarter than their main application

A problem I have recently observed a few times: people add DNS records to the wrong zone. For example, they add an a.b record to the example.com zone, but b.example.com is its own zone. Bind doesn't complain about the extra records, bu

Artificial valves last roughly 10 years, typically. Sometimes more. You have to take antibiotics at the slightest sign of any infection, to avoid infectious settlement of the valve. A family member got a "tissue engineered" valve

Adding the permissions to the `ssh-add` call is probably easiest for the authors of ssh-add, but seems to me the wrong user interface for me. Putting such information in a config file (or maybe attaching them to the key somehow, by default

I don't really see how that works. Do you propose that "all" authorities provide digital certificates, in preparation for the region becoming unstable? If yes, paper certificates already exist, and seem to go missing -- why w
