I've experienced this too. Apparently, Google Chrome on OS X gets labeled Opera/Win XP by Facebook. I was paranoid for a little while, wondering how these hackers kept tracking me around the world with that browser/os combo.

If you're looking to hire a logo or icon designer, Dribble is the place to be. However, crafting the perfect 300x400 teaser has little to do with web design. Do you want to hire a window decorator, or someone who will help you solve the ha

This the difference between introversion and extroversion. While you enjoy the company of your teammates, others may prefer to work independently. The freedom to work from home doesn't mean you have to be cooped up inside your house. You ca

As far as electronic signing goes, I've had clients use RightSignature. It's not free, but it's much more painless than PDF signatures.

Along with perfect visual and coding skills, "The Valley" wants designers in-house and under control. If companies want to hire talent, they need to be more willing to hire remotely. What's holding them back is the irrational fear of losing

It's okay. It a bit generic and sounds a lot like "Oblivious" or "Obvious" -- but since it's not a consumer-facing brand, you should be fine.

I like USAA. It's ostensibly a bank for those employed by the US armed forces (or related to someone in the service), but any American can freely open checking and savings accounts. If you qualify for a credit card and insurance, you can ca
