You know, I thought of a bunch of reasons why drones would be more likely to be stolen, but it never occurred to me that delivery trucks are accompanied by people.

Yup it's a pretty good idea too. Pets, odd structures, children, terrain type, puddles, water run off areas. Not to mention you need to account for the wind. Drones can actually fly really well in wind, and while obviously they won

That's what I was wondering too. I mean, I'd expect all major Nation States to "research" each other's voting systems and "direct visits to—election websites". Duh why wouldn't you? Like, okay? Here&#

A counter example: If I was a pack-a-day smoker and tell you smoking is bad for you, and that you shouldn't do it as it's bad for your health based off XYZ studies, that doesn't mean my statement is poor.

Only limited by cost, but they get expensive. You could spend more on just the thermal camera then the rest of the setup pretty easily.

This is just a "maybe" idea. If there's any clients that crash when not expecting the nulls then you may be able to crash all effected devices within the area. Depending on how hard they crash, this might be generally affecti

The other issue is infrared camera's don't have great resolution/refresh rates which isn't great for a (relatively) high altitude fast moving vehicle. That said I'd expect them to be added at some point. More tools

I actually have a drone I fly around freestyle for fun, after seeing how truly versatile they are, not to mention how cheap, I'm really not sold on constructing more towers. The EMax Hawk 5 is 250$ and while I don't know how much

I'd be confident with periodically testing just little random parts. For me this is a "last resort backup", costs little to keep around, and god-forbid we ever need it. BUT that means we need to account for the case were we d

I'm really excited about this! The more entities that can launch, and land vehicles the better! This will surely benefit everyone! Random though, when private companies like SpaceX "replace" say NASA's service of launchi

Drones don't really require infrastructure though? They don't require any setup at the physical locations, and they have a pretty obstacle free path above the trees. Zipline would require infrastructure setup on the scale of roads

Delivery trucks are hard to transport and store once they're reported stolen. It'd be more sensible to just steal the packages on the truck. The drone is "small", can be transported and stored without it being visible, s

At least around here (in US), while street deals are still the common among most people, USPS is likely the one of the biggest/safest methods now. They require a warrant to search domestic packages, not to mention the most common "

For some reason I'm surprised we've had so many issues with Wi-Fi security. I don't know if it was addressed in WPA3 (or if it would be addressed there), but my understanding is that a good chunk of the protocol isn't au

Yeah I don't see how this is any different from the standard Google Authenticator style affair. Without a security enclave (which devices are starting to include) I don't see how this is an improvement.
