Yeah, well pretty insignificant market share. Working many year in this market, Linux, Linux Desktops and etc, I can tell you: Microsoft isnt looking to the Linux desktop market share, but to the Mac OSX market share. Windows + WSL is a rea

I remember when I played with that, was mostly to try to run some old worms/exploits and write win32 offensive code for windows XP.. stuff worked pretty well actually.

if developers move from Linux to Windows + WSL as desktop, in my experience, is because Linux as desktop doesn't offer a great experience for everyone. In some terms, companies trying to sell Linux, did a bad work to get it done well.

But the funny thing is that we are talking about internet censorship and nobody gives a thing. I am sure if the narrative was "right extreme government censorship in Brazil", the discussion would be different here.

by pelasaco 4y ago
It is hard to discuss about it, because out of Brazil, they are trying to create a parallel with the US Capitol attacking and then make things fit the rhetoric that Bolsonaro is the Latin version from Trump, which is just wrong in all toget

Two interesting points from Greenwald: - The free internet is the most valuable innovation we have. - Your country will copy the censorship ideas from others if it works.

I think one of the best analysis of what is going on in Brazil. Greenwald and his husband are really enemies from Bolsonaro, but it didn't stop him to come up and say whats going on, regardless of the consequences.
