I think a watch is indeed a better 'companion' for people that want to detox from screentime. I do find Apple is hesitant to make it act as a primary driver. I find myself needing my iPhone too much for my liking. Hopefully this w

They should have just put everything on Tesla model 2. In Belgium everyone is excited for a 5000 EUR tax cut for EV vehicles below 40000 EUR. Lots of people interested in buying Model 3 and Model Y now. But 35000 EUR is still too much for t

It's a very narrow subgroup. But things can coexist. It's now easier to create music than ever, and there is more music created by more artists than ever. Most music is forgettable and just streamed as background music. But there

That would be a good ending. The villain suddenly becomes the hero, but his evil purpose disappears and he gets depressed. :)

You really think this will be an issue? Storage just keeps growing? The entire history of internet will probably be stored in millions of copies on some rice-sized containers somewhere. :D

Not OP, but I'm almost the same. If you have (young) kids, it's non existent either way. Now I go to sleep at the same time my kids do, around 9PM. My social life is during noon. My lunch-time is 2.5 hours instead of the usual 40

Apple was never about the games or content or even hard numbers. What is Apple like is: 1. incredible engineering :All very high quality fabrics, machining and optics. 2: The detail oriented software. Look how polished everything looks in V

It wasn't magical. Technically, it couldn't do a lot of things that other smartphones could. I had a Windows smartphone that could run Excel, with a slide-out keyboard for fast input. 1st gen iPhone was a bare-bones consumer dev

Good observation! It seems that in your 20s there's an inclination towards inspiration: exploring the world, ideas, and oneself. However, post-30s, particularly when you've settled down and had children, the focus often shifts to

It reminds me of one of my favourite quotes: We shall not cease from exploration And the end of all our exploring Will be to arrive where we started And know the place for the first time. T.S. Elliot

Keep anything that can copy your identity from the open web, especially socials. Only use services that have privacy in mind. Educate your family on how to check for these things, like asking personal questions, or having a safe phrase.

Junk ideas are useful to document too. When the idea resurfaces, one can read why it did not get through the first time. A ticket-system like JIRA is the same as an e-mailclient to me. You sort by activity, having the most active tickets on

Backlog items can start as rough ideas though. Refining of a ticket can be done later when you need to. But it can only be started to be worked on when the team thinks it is refined enough.

It’s not the same though. A high dose can lead to life altering insights. A low dose will just be a fun time. Alcohol in higher doses isn’t therapeutic. More than 4 beers and any therapeutic effect alchohol could’ve had is now also gone. :

I think 1 in 20 is a bit too high. 1 in 100 maybe to have a significant impact on your life. There are lots of tests now that so you have the chance to abort. 16% of the world population has a significant disability according to the WHO. Mo

That's why accessibility needs to be constantly advocated. We should never design services only for the needs of the majority. There are lots of people with all kinds of disabilities -mental and physical- that we need to cater for. Tha
