I don't have a horse in this discussion but... > There is a very real choice I don't see a 'No' button... I love the app, really, but that isn't nice. Also a GDPR violation for those in the EU.

Writing my things in markdown is something I always wanted to do but found sorta difficult to manage in day to day scenarios. Obsidian got me crazy excited, just placed an request for beta access!

Doesn't the title here literally say that it works with subdomains? Or I'm misunderstanding? (Not my field of work.)

I always wondered why most emulators keep OpenGL/DirectX as renderers instead of porting to Vulkan, I imagine because that would be an insanely tall task to tackle?

If you look into Atom's changelogs and commits graph you can clearly see they winded it down the day the GitHub acquisition was completed. Atom is basically in maintenance mode now.

>weaponize it Oh boy. Had chills from my time as a Jr. Engineer at Accenture. Still remember the day a manager looked at me like I offended his entire family for saying that lines written didn't mean productivity achieved.

You're correct, no need for grains of salt. Hence why some apps that are in jailbreak "stores" can do things apps from the store can't.

Your own comparison between mods for KSP and this article doesn't make much sense, even if you take the technical aspects of it. One is hacking at a compiled code that is not well documented, and talks about the subject. The other is a

The idea is amazing but couldn't stop thinking about the companies using it. Google? Is there a reason I should believe they're using it instead of the very obvious internal tools?

This reminds me of the Tabs vs Space discussion, and how once Bill Gates did an AMA on Reddit and his answer was that tabs was better because of consistency.

Consider me impressed, you just posted here common sense and basic knowledge and yet triggered them hard. (Two comments in a row even.) Is there a way to call Dang to have a look at those offensive comments? :-)

Probably OP trying to "test" if HN is controlled by China. Some weird logic I've seen recently where if you post something about China being bad, and it gets deleted, then that place is "tarnished".
