Cannot recommend this enough. I was intrigued at first while watching the movie "Broken Flowers" where this music was subliminal yet haunting (and perhaps the most memorable thing out of that movie!). "Yegelle Tezeta" (M

I mean if you are a professor and knowledgeable in how the startup uses the data, it’s hardly justifiable that “oh crap i didn’t know they were using it for illegal purposes”. They were totally complicit allegedly.

Hola, how would the bandwidth limit work within the tailnet if I am accessing it from outside my home network? Wouldn't it incur some bandwidth on Tailscale's end? I wonder if the DERPy-stuff helps remove most of the bandwidth c

Narrator: It's at this point Michael realized the futility of C++ and promptly learned Rust over a couple of beers pondering if he will ever survive the oncoming AI apocalypse.

Or better yet call a spade a spade: It was programmed to infer… ‘It’ doesn’t need anthropomorphizing in the slightest. It’s a computer program that can slurp up data.

There needs to be a new PL word for languages that work side-by-side (SxS?) with a legacy language. Not to replace it but coexist peacefully. TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift and even C++ are all great examples of SxS languages. Carbon could be a

In particular if you claim that r2 can be used to store and retrieve any blobs of data regardless of content type but that is only via the public bucket urls and not via workers etc it results in a complicated mess where you get pulled in t

Worrying part is the account could get banned. Could you reply here if that’s true? Would that take down dns/registrar etc functionality? Google does this and people would move to cloudflare thinking you wouldn’t do this account ban bu

Not at all familiar with biochemistry but octopuses are aliens on earth with very different evolutionary track having developed ‘brains’ before our ancestors did independently! It’s crazy we don’t study things like cephalopods like we do S

It’s cute that they anonymized the “data science professor”’s name. This person knowingly participated in this alleged fraud which should put their ethics and their reputation into question. To top it off, this person was later offered a “d

What would it take to store/feedback the gained (converted) energy to power the lasers? Sort of like a bootstrap with a very inefficient source of power, and over time transition to the produced clean energy? Armchair scientisting asid

This sounds even better. I was imagining a similar idea where for every point in the Bezier you have a normal that can extend both directions by a specified amount. The smoothness still requires some interpolation which shouldn’t be too fur

As you scale up with R2, D3, Email Workers etc, is it possible that the _future_ scale of touching very sensitive, "ought-to-be-secure / separate" data / code help reconsider this decision? Without process isolation, all

Thank you for doing this! I haven't looked deeply enough, but does this course use a higher-level 'package' such as OpenAI Gym or teach at a lower-level? (Is lower-level stuff even possible...)
