I might be an idiot but it wasn't obvious to me. Watching the demo of the robot standing stationary, responding to a customer ask for (and point to) cellophane bags of chocolate and then the robot grab and pass it to the customer seeme

Yes, spot on, but it'd be closer to 25% for a grid-scale solar PV installation.

I think I have the same phone system and have been meaning to do something similar for years. Do you have any of your work documented/published anywhere? I think the Nuki [1] exists for this purpose by the way, I stumbled upon it when

I read in a book once that the zone 10-20 minutes before sleep where you're kind of transitioning is a kind of altered state of consciousness, and that Edison used to utilise this by, during working sessions, sitting in a chair with a

I really liked the local player that would download videos continuously on my crappy dial up connection. You downloaded a file (a few kb) and it just perpetually downloaded the data until you came back hrs later and it was ready. Man I can&

Well said. I totally agree with the need/desire to preserve games, but I think people misrepresent how much of Wii U/Switch emulation was PC gamers wanting to play BOTW and TOTK on their PC because it's convenient and free.

Lately all I think about from day to day, as we're inundated with AI advancements that seem to be more rapid and impressive by the month, is that a) we simply have to acknowledge that this is the time to move away from a "winner t

I've always thought this was a good solution too. I'm not sure how difficult it is to have a cloned eSIM and have your carrier call/msg both devices at once for a small extra fee?

I'm with you. As I mentioned elsewhere, I'd have a Light Phone if it could use Telegram and a few other "essentials." Throw in a good camera and it'd be incredible. At the moment I use greyscale mode on my Pixel and

Thanks for this. I've been thinking about pulling my phone use right back. I was really wanting to use the Light Phone, as I like how small and minimal it is. The only problem is it doesn't run Telegram/Whatsapp which is kind

Could be buying into the myth, but I read somewhere that there was header or metadata in one of the ROMs that basically betrayed that it had been downloaded from a popular ROM site. Is that not right?
