You're doing real-time payments?? My unanswered questions about no-NSF/guaranteed funds are even more pertinent then... It sounds like you've either got some ridiculously good creditworthiness detection, or you're glossi

I hate to burst your bubble or anything, but dwolla.com does this pretty well and cheaply. How will you differentiate? I don't quite follow the "no NSFs and funds are guaranteed" - are you implying that if the transaction is

I find it amusing that they used an Apple keyboard... Then again the chiclet style keys seem to be a big factor in the build.

I'm not sure I've ever seen tax prep software where you couldn't print out the return and mail it in yourself - wouldn't that address your "blind faith" and accuracy arguments? Presumably they're building

I shot you an email. Definitely interested in "fixing" tax prep... It's pretty sad how obtuse they make things and how often tax prep software nickel and dimes you even though the actual computational aspects of filling in th

That section seems to only be about Google's IP, so it's not assigning anything about UniPro I think? That said, the link you gave seems to say it's not necessary for this application: > Royalty-free licensing conditions a

Interesting they're doing a lottery for registration. I'm sure it'll reduce server load though. Also, I love the binary countdown at the bottom of the page.

I think the problem has more to do with students' motivation than the PhD itself. In fact most of the grad students I've talked to in various stages have no real plan for AFTER completing the degree. So they in turn have no motiva

Maybe it's just me, but do many people have long, meaningful conversations with their loved ones over email and/or social media inboxes? Maybe I'm an old fart or something, but I don't see it. I've been on Facebook

I'm not a crypto researcher in any way, but if someone had access to the vault, wouldn't the fact that there are multiple stored (encrypted) representations of the same data encryption key present an attack point? This image for e

Even cheaper solution: $15 at Home Depot gets you 4'x8' showerboard. Which you can write on with dry erase markers. You have to be a little more meticulous about cleaning than a true white board, but it is definitely cheap. Ex: h
