>Slightlky faster thans a PS5 A PS5 is 10.3 Tflops and costs $400. If this is for gaming, it's not a great value. The PS5 is an incredible value so anyone building a PC for gaming should be aiming for the high end.

Having a “women only” car shows there are deep societal issues that are normalized due to the country’s ultra patriarchal ways. A normal solution would be to prosecute the perpetrators but Japan doesn’t take women seriously. A “women only”

How kind of you to take one of the most racist and sexist societies that’s politically identical to the religious nutters you’re talking about. America did not ban abortion and it’s less restrictive than in Japan. Also weird to call out sho

Even on HN, you’re in the minority. If you took HN as a representative sample, you’d think Linux was the #1 OS by a long shot even though it’s a rounding error for personal usage. There’s a big old bubble here.

Some conditions don't exist in many places. Someone can have a self-driving car and use it for life in Arizona and it doesn't matter that it wouldn't work in Alaska. It's still progress and still useful to a subset of pe

The 787 simulates a much lower altitude and has more humid air I believe which makes recovering from long flights much easier in my experience. I look forward to the 777X which has the features of the 787 with the space of a 777.

It has never been about seeking a neutral position. What is neutral about Vitalik shilling the Ethereum ecosystem?[0] He's clearly motivated to say positive things about it. [0] https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=3387

I think this was the wrong move. The original source is better in this case and you are letting your anti-corporate bias and personal opinion affect your decision making as a moderator. What makes this so awful to read to you?
