It is customizable. If you are logged in you can choose any of the designs they have had since the site was created, and if you don't like any of those, it lets you add your own custom CSS.

And an even smaller caveat: If you use older (distro provided) Rust versions note that it may look like there is some partial implementation of allowing mixing with NoneError, etc. Ignore this. It doesn't work, and was removed in later

The official server is distributed as docker containers, with a shell script to manage them, and is quite simple to setup and maintain. I could see how trying to deploy it yourself outside of docker could be an undertaking though. The MSSQL

That was the goal under Mozilla. Now that they aren't paying for the work anymore, I would expect other employers (and volunteers) to want more out of it than a tech incubator for another project.

Yes everyone knew it would end, but nobody knew exactly when. Choosing not to expand when there was cheap capital and increased customer demand would have been a pretty bad decision as well. Many of these companies expanded by like 3-5x and

Note that while the download page and tools don't perform license checks, you are supposed to have a visual studio license to use that package[1]. It is intended as an easy way for VS customers to install tools on build machines and th

The general rule in most places is that any circuits that aren't modified as part of the new work don't need to be brought up to modern code. The main service panel is the main thing that ends up needing to be upgraded incidentall

I don't know. I was under the impression that a lot of those sort of things are skills you use to learn from your parents, and being able to do maintenance of the things you owned was more common in the past not less.

It also allows you to invert the order of the calls so they are written in the order they occur. Instead of paint(sand(cut(measure(wood)))), you can write wood | measure | cut | sand | paint, which is easier to read, especially if it splits

A nice alternative I've seen is that negative index is an error, but there is special syntax for indexing from the back like array[end], array[end-1], array[end-n], where n is a (positive) variable. Likewise, end can be used in range d

I'm surprised at how expensive this is. The type of development I do doesn't have string processing in the hot path, so I've never benchmarked these sort of unicode operations, and I don't doubt that the bstr Rust librar

Note this bug is for the strcmp implementation used in Linux kernel code itself. The userland implementations of strcmp in glibc, etc, are separate so this didn't affect uses of strcmp in application code.

Plain ASCII is 7-bit so it won't overflow with signed char. There are many extensions that use that extra bit to increase the number of characters, but they aren't ASCII, they are ISO 8859-*, or ANSI, or UTF-8 etc.

Thanks, the explanation about how the Zig compiler uses compile-time code execution to implement multiplatform support in the compile-to-c-backend helped me understand why WASM has better trade-offs for Zig than other bootstrapping options.
