The blog talked about many different things. Not all of them may be related to each other. It is pure speculation from the author.

Arabic and Hindu also refer to civilizations. The name doesn't come from the languages. Besides Hindi is relatively new. It did not even exist as a language when the number system was invented.

Ah I see, that makes more sense. If you had two NVIDIA GPUs while one of them was passed through to a guest then I think that problem may still exist. However if you only have one nvidia gpu (and have a different kind of gpu for display), t

The maintainers are dropping a hard requirement for 32 bit and asking the community to step up if they want to. 32 bit packages can and will continue to be still packaged under archlinux perhaps from [community] instead of [core]

I am not sure about that. Other sources I have seen put the median numbers substantially lower than what I make. But they are for all jobs with the same title, so it is a lot harder to compare.

From what I can tell from glassdoor, I am making a little bit more than average for my level of experience. I don't have any other sources unfortunately.

One of these is me: http://h1bdata.info/index.php?em=Twitter+Inc&job=Senior+Soft... I am closer to the higher of the salaries listed. This does not include other kinds of compensation I'll be getting. Let me know

I am not saying either one should get a leash. Almost everyone who is against capitalism point to the real world problems with it but talk about an "ideal communist society" as an alternative. If comparisons are being made, they s

Why should communism get a leash when the real world examples have consistently shown that they lead up to corruption as well as unregulated free markets ?

Not sure if that's a typo in the post but 6,800 mAH for a laptop is tiny. EDIT: Nevermind, I was thinking of WHr. If it is using a 12V adapter, that is plenty.

They share the same underlying C and CUDA libraries. The Python and Lua modules are different. You can see both projects have pretty much the same contributors because they are sharing the code base using git-subtree.

They are sharing the code base using git-subtrees. So the C and CUDA parts of the codebase will be kept in sync. The modules written in lua or python will diverge.

That is a bit of leap isn't it ? Improving the compiler has very little to do with automated driving vehicles.

The C compiler is often the first thing ported over to new architectures because it is fairly easy to do. Rust probably will not come close to being that universal. On the desktop side of things, it will probably continue to be the favored
