There's a decent wiki article on the configuration file: https://github.com/onivim/oni/wiki/Configuration I use "oni.useDefaultConfig": false and "oni.loadInitVim": true and use it

There's a webgl renderer behind an experimental flag that is about 10x faster than the canvas renderer :)

My brother does this. He makes about $300 per weekend, which supplements his income working in a call center. The real reason he's there is to stop people from trashing the bathroom and using drugs in the club.

There's a set called SA Retro[1] that used the C64 logo; no idea if it was cleared or not. [1]: https://www.geekzone.fr/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Minila-Ai...

Generally speaking, optimistic updating should have some type of UI to subtly display the network status so the user is aware of what is going on under the hood, but the network activity doesn't block them from performing additional ac

Those keycaps are gorgeous. If someone could manage to get those manufactured I guarantee they would fetch upwards of $150/set on a site like massdrop.

I had an epiphany recently when I realized that I had spent about 40-50% of my time on a recent project writing type checking conditionals and unit tests that would have been obviated by using a type system. I am considering typescript for

I think comparing it to emacs is kind of missing the point; Oni is primarily targeting two groups of users: long time vim users who want to spend less time configuring plugins and who want some of the modern features that newer IDEs provide

The main issue preventing smooth scrolling is it will require each split to be an independent neovim instance, which is (in my opinion) not quite as nice as native splits. There is a feature in development that does use a separate view for

It's not really the same use case though, a vscode extension is limited by the vscode API, but I imagine if someone manages to make an extension that is just a wrapper around a neovim process it will be pretty compelling. Making a neov
