This is not simple issue at all. Who's at fault if anti-lock brakes don't work as expected? What about cruise control? The new cruise control that auto-follows? What about lane-following technology? We are not going to jump direct

I see another player that Skype is going after - WebEx. Most uses for WebEx are simple video chatting. Most times no one need the dozens of other features that WebEx offers in their bloated product. In true innovators dilemma fashion, I can

The article clearly makes the case that tracking churn is critical to analyzing the overall health of a business. And the reason why churn is so critical for cash-strapped startups is that new customers are so expensive. In many cases it is

In the early 80s, even though I had access to a terminal, I always wrote my code out with pencil and paper before typing it in. Don't remember why exactly. I wonder if that was just a holdover from an earlier time and how we were taugh

The title of the article really annoys me. Not all fat is unhealthy. What is especially bothersome is that food companies are creating "low fat" foods by replacing fat with sugar, making them much less healthy than the original yo

This may be a dumb question, but why are they test landing in the ocean instead of on land? Flight paths preclude it?

This is why I would never use Google for anything mission critical. You can't trust them to keep anything going.

Who is funding this project? Hard to believe anyone would run a free 7-week course because they like to teach. This is similar to a course taught by General Assembly here in the US, but that course costs $11,500.

Agree! Seems this is the most important thing and I'm surprised it's not available. Without it, this api doesn't seem to add much value.

What if instead, Uber offered a $2 discount for unsafe, uninsured rides? Is this logical? Of course not. Therefore, what Uber is doing seems absurd, IMO.

You know what really annoys me? People are now so used to gas starters or starter logs, that they don't split their wood at all. Just pile up the whole pieces and try to start a fire. Then fight it for three hours and end up with smoke

Maybe this is a dumb question, but why couldn't they have found another location for the new church? Why did it have to be on the same plot as the Citicorp building?
