I don't turn it on until at least 8PM. TV on during the daytime hours is somehow depressing, unless it's some sort of live event.

> If the option was a mac with privacy vs a mac without privacy but $10 cheaper OP was comparing the Kindle with ads discount to an imaginary Mac without privacy discount.

Agree that can be an issue. Often it's not worth the energy doing that. But without the linter there's a good chance you'll end up discussing the formatting in code review which doesn't really benefit anyone.

Of no one will ever agree with every choice made by a linter, whether default or customized. I would rather work in a team that agrees to follow some set of conventions than than one in which everyone does things the way they prefer persona

Anecdotally I still see it listed a huge amount, as much as ever. Much of the time the apps are more than a couple of years old. I do think the number of startups who will create a new Rails application today as their primary application i

The official Rails guides are worth reading and even if you don't want to use Rails are worth checking out as an example if how to do a framework guide well.

I knew the difference between a gigabit and a gigabyte but didn't know there were official symbol units for them. According to Wikipedia a gigabit is indeed Gb and a gigabyte is GB. Having the only difference be case was always bound t

I can't view the Japanese link but the French article mentions nothing about connecting to the internet, or "WI-FI". Wouldn't a ship have satellite internet?

I assumed you might be looking for clients in the US. If that's the case I do think it pays to price yourself up rather than down.

I think you don't want the kind of client who wants a website for $150. Good clients will be turned off by the low price. I'd try going for a less bargain basement look and pricing structure.

Elixir for one. Yes it works best when you have one argument to pass, as the first argument is passed implicitly. https://hexdocs.pm/elixir/Kernel.html#%7C%3E/2

Isn't this just a matter of perspective. You are being debited by the third party, meaning they are requesting money. The bank credits your account with money when they put something in your account.

Spotify do regional pricing, the cost in India is about a tenth of what it costs in the United States. I don't know if Coursera do the same but I don't see why they couldn't.

Could you expand on what you mean by not handling properly? I don't work with non stereo audio and mostly use Logic but I assumed something like Nuendo would have excellent multi channel support as it's targeted at audio for film.

In the case of a library that would make this a breaking change you could add the new key rather than changing it, and support both while flagging old key usage with a deprecation warning.
