   Not sure why you think they couldn't go to land. It is much easier to enter the US as a tourist or on a short-term visa than to get a work visa to live and work here. I think that coders living on a ship that isn't legally part of the US

   I dunno how you got that from our Intro page, we are quite explicit that seasteading is not about any one form of government but enabling more diversity and experimentation. Startup governments!
