In node, nearly all of the stuff has sync versions and global await is around the corner. For every other saner environment (read: browser consoles), global await is a thing already, and you get immediate feedback, and have a canvas (with s

In my previous job, some PHP developers loved to pick on JS with that same accusation, then we checked the composer packages folder... Also, working with gradle now... I'd take the npm + webpack any day.

People will gladly use classes from tailwind such as mt-1 (margin top 0.25rem) but they will freak out when they see the MsoNormal class. Is there a way to make the styles of the exported site look less like a word export? Don't get me

I find creating a site with next.js then making a static export much easier and much more customizable than your typical ssg. I'd love to hear other opinions though.

Many people had to try it to really understand what the hype is all about, so it's pretty clearly difficult to explain. If you give the combination of Tailwind + Alpine.js + your favorite server-side templating engine a try, it may jus

People (well, me too) these days script that too, so the good thing is you don't forget a service or configuration, the bad thing is you never forget a service or configuration.

To be honest, I see those even less in modern SPAs. Usual suspects are sites which load every possible js lib in the universe until some integration works and they can display all the ads. There seems to be a confusion here.
