I remember their original pitch sounding like it made a lot of sense. Fast, cheap, verifiable trading layer for IOUs that can then be settled externally. A lot like how many stock exchanges work. Ended up selling any XRP I had two years ago

I mean there are probably a few super edge cases for something like this. A digital art display, or theater production for instance. Something you can custom 3d print yourself is just about perfect for that.

It seems to me that Google assumes Chrome is the only app you have open. It is optimized for performance for the sites you have open, and it doesn't care about the performance of other apps you are using. This is in line with Google&#x

Nope, all you get is exposure controls. Third party apps like Halide fill in the gaps here quite well, but sadly you can't make them your primary camera.

Journalists have been dealing with this for a long time. For instance they don't release information about minors accused of a crime even if they have access to it, but they do discuss the events that happened. Seems pretty straightfor

Tabloid essentially make up stores, so I would say they fall into the "fiction" category. This story is essentially Russian propaganda designed to destabilize the US election. It's a whole different category of content.

The iPhone 4 width was 2.31 inches. The iPhone 12 mini's width is 2.65 inches. It's not insanely bigger.

This seems like a perfect device for the single use of note taking. But something like https://www.boox.com would probably make more sense for a lot of people since it can run other Android note taking and e-reader apps.

The market for face masks is probably enormous right now but the information out there on which ones to buy is anemic. I assumed this was because masks were such a commodity that it didn't really matter which ones you bought, but this

90% of people don't need more than what's in the iMac. For pros who would use it the iMac Pro or Mac Pro are the obvious choices. For gamers Apple has been ignoring the market and everyone knows you are better off building your ow

Also Google requires you to re-enter your password. The fact that his browser was set up to auto enter passwords without any prompt (not the default) and the fact that his machine was open to the internet means that Google probably had enou

This is the same issue that plagues SMS 2FA. Services constantly treat SMS as 1FA so by sim swapping someone you can get access to their account. If SMS is truly used as 2FA, and is part of MFA, it is a much more reasonable solution. These

Sure but a lot of that scope is regularly added on to kubernetes clusters (metrics, logging, etc) so unless you keep your cluster super lean you will end up with a large attach surface anyway.

Sounds like the solution is to add the app to your home screen. I don't think its reasonable for a browser to let any site I ever interact with to store data on my device indefinitely
