Something similar happened to me at a startup recently. It was truly nightmarish and I was glad to get out of there.

Amazing how, even 12 years later, this is even more true than it was back then.

Promise you that it is never too late. Speaking from experience. You've accomplished more than you realize. Stay straightened out and get out there.

This post makes me so happy to be working in software. It's easy to get jaded over the years, but this really brings me so much of the joy and love of working with software.

If someone has to create such a long justification for why they need to use twitter, i'm still not convinced it has any value. So far in my experience twitter is primarily an echo chamber for VC's to pat each other on the back. I

I mean, why not try to go the pure consumer route and raise some VC money? Get the doctors on board, add them to your pitch deck, put the site up, drive some paid traffic towards it, and raise a seed?

So frustrating how DTH Capital and Coned are pointing the finger at each other, and neither can own the problem. Such a classic big organization issue.

Wow, not even enough money to retire. Their stock grants are probably worth more than whatever they made trading. Seems like a bad move.

I listed three qualities of 1x1s in my post. Quality #2 and #3 I did not deride as time sunk, those are just things that need to be done. Regarding status updates, whether people want to believe it or not, most ICs feel like giving a status

You're quite wrong jcrash. I actually love 1x1s, love getting to know my team, and spend a ton of time developing trust, solving problems, etc in 1x1. At no point have I thought "WOW this is unreasonably effective! Instead I thi

Gonna have to strongly disagree on this. Just because the author has specific anecdotes for their 1x1s, there's no way this applies broadly and generically. I've had a thousand+ 1x1s with countless people (both as a manager and as
