And you get downvoted for pointing out that here in Europe you're required by law to make software accessible. (At least in theory, don't know if it's enforced at all.)

Well, here in Europe you can get sued if you provide a non-accessible software. (Games are excluded and a photo editor can of course assume that the user can see etc.)

They where never Nvidia bugs. Just that if you use Nvidia drivers many GUI projects will ignore your bug report. It was a long time ago so I don't remember the details. Happened with multiple projects (not the same bug, the same respon

As a Linux user I was trained to never report any bugs if you use the proprietary Nvidia drivers, because the report will just be dismissed (no matter if the stack trace indicates the crash being Nvidia's fault). Though I guess for a g

Though I think all/pretty much all menu items can be accessed by pressing space and then typing the name of it. (If you use the setting space for command search.) There will be an auto completion list and it remembers the last action.

Rendering everything into a canvas will realistically mean total lack of accessibility features. Also you won't be able to use the DOM inspector. I don't think that would be an improvement at all. If one could work with the DOM vi

Well, they basically wrote their own GUI toolkit. And IMO a very good one, with tiling windows and everything is nicely scaleable. I especially like the command search with space and little things like dragging over a column of checkboxes t

Yeah, I was listing a lot of things that C++ can express that Rust can't. But C++ doesn't have lifetimes so you can't express those. And you can use that to eliminate temporaries. But if you say that you can also somehow do t

You can do all except for the specialization in Rust for matrix + vector. You can do more in Rust about re-using temporaries (when one parameter to Add/Mul/... is a move). But you can't do arbitrary dimensional tensors or spe

In Rust you can implement Add for all kinds of combinations of types. I.e. when one of the parameters moves it's ownership you can just perform the operation in-place in that parameter and return it. So you can eliminate temporaries at

I wonder if one could write a truly statically typed tensor implementation with something like this. Where you can then say Tensor<f64, 16, 16, 2000> but also Tensor<bool, 32> and Tensor<f32, 4, 4> etc. Then some way of sp
