I've used Matter.js in a project with custom canvas renderer and it performed great. The only issue that I've had to patch up was tunnelling at high speeds. But this is a common problem with many engines.

Suggestion for page styling: replace "overflow: scroll" with "overflow: auto" to get rid of unnecessary scrollbars in code blocks. Unless you like them the way they are, of course.

Every language can do tagged unions with "kind" or "tag" markers and switch statement. But it's going to be verbose without pattern matching/destructuring combo.
