If they did a good job to ensure a sense of safety (making sure everything is cleaned and sanitized all the time etc) yes. The fear I have going back to the office is people just touching stuff, door handles, glassware in the kitchen, etc.

You can move by swiping your finger within the purple-like circle at the right part of the screen. That circle simulates a joystick for character movement. And you can look around by swiping anywhere else on the screen!

Here - https://pantel.is/projects/css3d/indexdiv.html (no option, but I force set the first level to use div tags instead of img. Curious if this fixes the FF linux issue!)

Woaah.. this never occurred to me. Thank you, for the suggestion. Didn't know about "KeyboardEvent.code". And of course.. arrowkeys, kinda ashamed I didn't think of that!

Oooh, I think I know why. First room uses img tags for the walls. Image tags (and canvas tags) do not play well in 3D contexts. For example they ignore depth sorting and rely on z-index. So you cannot properly depth sort them. Now you might

Nope, threejs is used for a very specific thing at the end of the second level. There is actually nothing 3D-related webgl in it (except for a surprise at the end)

Hello HackerNews! Super excited to read all your comments (last time I was here with audiomass.co). This is meant to be an experiment of rendering a full 3D scene in html/css. Of course there is a ton of (vanilla) JS to handle pretty m

Performance for simple things is adequate, but relying on 2-point rectangles (origin(x,y), dimensions(width, height)) for geometry is extremely cumbersome. Also everything is hack piled on top of hack (for example there is no concept of a ca

Oh... if you are referring to the second level (sewers) that's actually on purpose, i have set max draw distance (geometry culling) to improve performance on mobile. It is configurable.

Yup, vanilla JS. Only the rendering is html/css. State, navigation etc, is all js.

Oh yeah, I didn't mean to come off as judgemental or nitpicky. This is fantastic work! And this data can actually be pretty useful, let's say if somebody wanted to build a racing game based on street view, using the boundaries of

It is not proper pointclouds, but it is the data used by Street view to highlight if you are looking at a wall, or at a street. It is also used for transitions between one scene to another. You can see it is very basic 90deg angle geometry,

Fair enough :) for cut/paste/copy it might definitely be a good option. Though what about control + S, should that prompt the export audio, or let the browser download the page? Perhaps I should add support for the control key, bu

It is a non-optimal choice, but I believe there is a very strong reason. Not competing with the browser's native functionality. Some of the most horrible web experiences, occur because websites try to take control of native functions.

You can extract sections (as mp3 by selecting, and then File > Extract mp3 > current selection). Or File > Save Local Draft (and you can open the selection as a standalone audio project). Being able to label things with markers and

Thank you for the suggestion! Unlicense does seem much better and their website has a valid SSL cert, unlike the wtfpl one... So, this is probably the one! Will update the repo later tonight! Cheers!

I did not want to bind control/command key as it is used by the browser itself (eg control + t opens a new tab). So instead I used the shift key, (so shift + A = select all, shift + C = copy, shift + V = paste, etc).

You are 100% correct. I guess it's because it's a js developer doing audio, instead of an audio engineer doing js! So I have a lot to learn, most of the plugins have minor issues, but I 'll be focusing in correcting those whe
