I would say his "elements" song holds that spot: These are the only ones of which the news has come to Harvard, And there may be many others, but they haven't been discovered.

I think this is the main issue. If google limited itself to good old search it would be all fine but they are trying to tangle themselves into _everything_ and you can no longer avoid them. Take app store as an example: if you are a digital

Note that Zram and ML are not best friends, for a number of reasons.

It's google, what did you expect? This is why I would never recommend this SCB to anyone. Beside being locked to tensorflow, you are also at merci of some random manager at Google.

This is rpi4 territory. But I would not recommend the 2GB version. The 4GB versions is barely useful without a swap file on a SSD.

Not only that, nvidia cares deeply about pytorch. Visit pytorch forums and look at most upvoted answers. All by nvidia field engineers.

I wonder why Turkey (Uyghurs are Turks) has been so quiet about this. Oh yeah, they are busy finishing their own genocide...

Yes, this instruction was removed in 64-bit arm for this very reason. It has been replaced with LDP (load pair, i.e load two registers) which is not nearly as nice for software developers but made the life of the ARM designers much easier.

With microsemi doing everything wrong, altera going invisible and xilinx soom to becomes AMDs toy project, who else should you invest in?

Sure, but Turkey and Egypt recognized Isreal in 1950 and 1979. Saudi Arabia/Iraq/Syria still do not recognize Israel. In comparison, Bahrain and UAE are tiny countries that already had pretty normal relationship with Israel, just

Not trying to get political, but I feel the middle east talks wasnt even between the right countries. Get Syria, Iran, Palestine and Israel to sign a peace agreement, now that would be an accomplishment. Peace between Israel and Bahrain? We

Agreed, altera looks dead since intel took over. This is probably good news only for Lattice Semiconductor.

Reading this got me wondering: is Daniel a genius or someone who got lucky once (1.5 times to be more exact) and now sees himself as a tech messiah? Is Daniel Ek the scandinavian Elrich Bachman? (Although Elrich was supposed to be of Dane a

I would say the authentication app is becoming mandatory, not the banking apps. It is perfectly possible to use the website but authorize with the app. Which I admit does not solve the problem at hand

For apps that really need security, android porivdes attestation using secure element. https://developer.android.com/training/safetynet/attestation https://source.android.com/security/keystore

One of the reasons I am not switching to an "alternative" platform like librem or pinephone is that I need apps for things like banking, which are available for iOS and android only. With a working android emulation I could switch

The problem with thinkpads is that they are even more expensive. On the bright side, you can get them really cheap refurbished.

Shouldn't this have been communicated better? On your own forums the best answer people can find to this situation is basically "we have moved to snaps, this is not our problem".

You just wrote that 1-day (barely) battery life is okay for Apple Watch since Android Wear can't do whole week. What kind of argument is that? BTW, I use neither of those two.

I hope Mark Shuttleworth and Stéphane Graber are reading this. Someone has sabotaged a perfectly good docker replacement with a series of really bad decisions. Having said that, did you try to pin LXD version? For example sudo snap in

Speaking of LXD, can we talk about the mess that LXD on WSL2 is? Ubuntu 20.04 on WSL2 doesn't use systemd which means no snapd which means no LXD. This happens due to a series of really bad decisions by canonical and Microsoft. The big
