Facebook kept spamming me with 'people you might know' emails, which used to go straight to my spam folder, but for some reason started appearing in my inbox. I clicked through and unsubscribed from those emails the other day. Despite this,

I realise it's kind of ridiculous to complain, but it's also ridiculous that a 14 year old game won't play on a few years old tablet, and I'll need top urchase this year's model if I want to play said 14 year old game.

I can't but think this is bad PR for NASA (in an unintended consequence kind of way). "How cool is it that we've got an awesome rover on Mars! ...oh they're sending a new generation one there in 18 years time? Bah... now I have to wait for

I see a different picture. One where they're desperately trying to kick-start their mobile plaform, so they're unapologetically shoving it under the noses of as many customers as possible, and the only way they can see to do this, is by shi

Does this have better local data in areas where Apple's mapping app is lacking? I ask, because where I live, this is actually bolstering the case for the new iOS mapping service.

I only tried Siri once before deciding it was useless for me. I asked Siri "How many inches in a foot?" which Siri heard as "How many inches in a fort ". I retried it about twenty times modulating my voice to try and get it to hear foot in

You make a very good point, and I guess the distinction I can see is that freemium apps are marketed as free, with the hidden cost to someone susceptible occuring after the initial 'taste'. It's easily arguable that luxury brands tap into t

Apple's proposed spec (infered from their hardware) is max width of USB dongle equals width of USB port. Not neccessarily unfair either. If you want girth, add some cable.

There wasn't any evidence Apple was working on the first iPhone before they announced it, but it was an obvious target for Apple to hit. I had a fake osX theme on my crappy Nokia and was hanging out for Apple to enter the fray. I can't thin
