Then one day, you kneel down to check your engine oil, and bam, there go all your credit cards. There are downsides. I'd prefer if they just made the loops a little more sensitive. A 200 lb piece of metal would seem to suffice for a true

Before I clicked I figured it was going to be yet another "Michael is a great guy but way off base here," and indeed that's pretty much all there is to see here. Coupled with a lot of fist-pumping.

This thread is reminding me a bit too much of the business card scene from American Psycho: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoIvd3zzu4Y but uh, nice CV's guys.

If you like this, you might like http://quickfuseapps.com , which is basically logic circuits for voice apps. Demo calls are free. Also, QuickFuse doesn't use Flash, it's pure JavaScript and canvas, so in my experience it's a bit more pe

Doesn't an airliner crashing into the ocean leave some trace? I would think there would be an oil slick, and some floating debris. There's a lot of stuff in an airplane that floats. Surely these things would be spotted by air or satellite

This is how I usually browse hulu. I love good URL design. I think hulu was pointed in this direction by its use of Rails.

I thought they also thought they checked that the MAC address of the phone corresponds to a plausible iPhone MAC address. So, you might have to change that on your wifi card first (kind of a bother.)

My issue is I almost always search from the address bar of chrome, or the search box of any other browser, so I never see the "instant" effect. I can't remember the last time I actually went to google.com except when linked to see a cool l

This looks like the perfect companion for playing around with a REST API.. very cool. Certainly more fun than composing monstrous curl invocations.

Surely there was a better way to get this story out than piecemeal via 60 staccato tweets? I know this article is supposed to show Twitter is important "new media" that changes the way news works, but I have never seen such a salient topic

How do you synthesize/analyze audio on the waveform level with HTML5? AFAIK this is only possible with an alpha version of Firefox implementing an experimental API, not part of HTML5. Flash can do full waveform synthesis as of v10, audiot
