But even 25g from one plant is on the low side! So you could easily have the farcical situation where you can grow weed but can’t legally harvest all of it!

I can’t believe this was in a video they published themselves! Is their company culture so awful that employees saying their product is garbage isn’t seen as a problem?

Oh it was just a glib way of moaning about non-determinism making its way into software engineering. Much like how physicists had to make peace with the probabilistic nature of quantum physics.

It’s starting to feel like LLMs are to “classical” software engineering what quantum physics was to classical physics

Brings back happy memories of playing this on the demo unit in the shop across the road from my house every day after school because I couldn’t afford to buy the console.

Kind of implies that the whole “if a lion could speak…” thing is bunk. I can understand my cats non verbal communication pretty well.

How much work is actually involved in adding support for this format? Like is it just plugging an existing implementation into the abstractions they already have for other image formats? or is there more to it?

Fasting for more than ~36 hours can be quite dangerous without medical supervision. Probably why it’s downvoted.

Quite impressive although if these are the cherry picked examples the average output must be pretty weak! Nothing catchy about most of these examples and the reggae one is pretty lame.

Some might say that amassing that much wealth is a sign that they are already corrupted in some way. I would say: beware of the principles of those who wield power and have little common cause with you.

I think the point is that there’s no need to go to such lengths to enforce it. They build the picker UI so most users will just pick an emoji using that. Sometimes it’s important to limit degrees of freedom with strict validation but in thi

I’ll be the first to say it: it looks like breaking everything down into a dependency graph of a million tiny packages that nobody understands and letting anyone publish anything they like might have been a bad idea.

I think that backlash is mostly from the “5g is globalist plot to control us” folks. Although given one of those people is running for the Democratic nomination maybe it’s not as safe to ignore them as I think…

What if gravity is the creator’s v2? She finally managed to figure out an elegant solution without all the weird quantum edge cases but never got around to applying the pattern everywhere.

The original Mid morning matters was also pretty good. Tim Key is such a breath of fresh air in it and the constrained format is fun.

4/4 would probably indicate a large stress on the one and smaller one on the three of each bar. 11/4 would probably indicate a large stress on the one and small stresses on the three, five etc I would play them differently anyway
