Every time I read "PHP" in a thread I think "Here we go again with the useless hate/love comments". Can we just agree on "PHP used to suck but it was very easy to work with, reason why it got traction. Things g

I think it's quite clear they don't care about being called an open source company, which is fine, as I see it. This will shake the sandbox. I personally hope that the community will step up with a fork.

Shares were going down for some time, env0 (Terraform Cloud competitor) just raised 35m from VC for a what seems to be a good product... Hashicorp did it's move. If there's a community behind, the fork will live and, who knows, ma

Well, the timing is right: env0 just raised 35m in CV and now Hashicorp says you cannot offer something similar to Terraform Cloud anymore.

I read this like "if I was was really clever back then I would do what now I think is clever" and my humble opinion about the ultimate solution for it really horrifies me (the class generator). Maybe I'm not clever enough. Ma

This is why, at least at work, you need a strict definition of done. A DoD isn't only useful to you and your team but also to the rest of your organisation so that everyone knows that you might still be working on a task/project al

Would anybody be able to recommend any standalone solution (essentially data must not leave elsewhere) to chat with documents with a web interface? I tried privategpt but results were not great.

I have been using plantuml with Aws icons for years, already. I love it. I can write locally, in gitlab and in Confluence. I can iterate over it and it says right embedded in my docs.

From what I know, not everywhere in France but in the north. It was impossible to me to find this month in Occitane, at least.

I live in Spain but I had the chance to travel to northern Europe dozens of times, where I learned to love rhubarb. I really would love rhubarb to grow here but it is almost impossible to find, even in big cities.

I'm tempted to say that it also needs IPS/anti-reflection screen. I am currently in the process of choosing a laptop and it's one of my main requirements. So far, I'm looking with tender eyes to the MSI Prestige 13 EVO.

Good questions. No, I don't need a local copy and I'm quite ok with Gmail at the moment. I was thinking about using Thunderbird to interact with Gmail, in reality.

Maybe someone can help me out. I am always wondering if I should use Thunderbird considering I only use Gmail, both as in private and at work. I fear the integration with calendar won't be the same but I'm considering it. Can some

OK, now I am intrigued by so many comments about how to do this yourself and, especially, for getting answers about your own document, which is what I'm really looking forward. I checked many of the links you posted and, although I am

I am very puzzled by this. Wasn't the very point of Sqlite to be local? If it's not anymore, why would you prefer to use it rather than any other relational database?

We use Terraform but mostly because of its ecosystem. I was always tempted to use Pulumi, especially because they got something right from the beginning: pure declarative code is an illusion. You always need loops, control structures, etc.
