This analogy is flawed in two points: 1. Let's Encrypt isn't useless because 2. With certificates you can be sure, the message you received, is from the certificate owner. This applies to websites and emails.

I really love their customer service. Since it's not possible to delete your account from whithin the settings (after disagreeing with updated ToS) I had to contact them. It only took me 16 emails and 27 days to delete my account! Very
