Congrats on the mega-release to you and all the team who worked hard to get there! I really love KDE. I'm a small time contributor to the project but every time I've been very welcomed and guided all the way through the merging of

The OpenNIC project [1] maintains an alternative DNS root and supports a few alternative TLDs: .bbs, .chan, .cyb, .dyn, .geek, .gopher, .indy, .libre, .neo, .null, .o, .oss, .oz, .parody, and .pirate. My personal web page is available at h

Why? We do the same thing with file path for example, with / being both the root and the separator. In both cases you can think of the character as the separator if you prefer it to have a single role, and then the root is just the emp

Not disagreeing with you, just nitpicking on the use of a word: What you are describing is simply a signed Merkle tree, not a blockchain. You cannot really call an individual signing it's own ledger a consensus mechanism. Maybe &quot

There are only 5478 game states (without even taking symmetries into account), so 13 bits should be enough actually. I did something like this a while ago here, to produce the smallest possible implementation of the game in pure HTML: http

I wouldn't call electricity (and energy in general) a business. The goal is not to make money but to provide a service. But yes, electricity in France before it was privatized was largely successful. The same could be said for the trai

It's really not a bold claim. It may seems like so if you chose to believe in the idealized market model but that does not exist in real life. As for the references, I linked to them (it's in French however) in another comment her

That's clearly a very bad idea. Maybe .gov was supposed to be that initially? The USA have it for themselves alone. Thankfully other countries have their ccTLD and can reserve a subdomain for their government official websites, like .g
