I feel a bit of the same when making UIs. If the UI is obviously bad/rushed then people will talk about the features more. If the UI is nice and polished, people will find their own one way to tell how it could have been 1% better.

The problem is that you work hard but for someone else, that doesn't care about your health. Your suffering is an externality to them.

Would be interesting to couple it with QOI, as QOI + LZ4 is very interesting as image format.

Haven't got the book yet, but started using Wren. It's a nice language if you want scripting and OOP (though I haven't used Lua).

No absolutely not I'm not an investor. I guess with hindsight it is easier to see how bad it would be. In the microISV space, having expenses below revenue is the only way to go, so it all feels really remote.

If you are after _weird_ Calc alternative for Windows, I use this one all the time: http://graindolium.paradisia.net/applicat/GrainCalcul.rar just because it lets you use the keyboard instead.

It's not D that auto-vectorize such expression, it's the backend. Those "array ops" makes it easier for the compiler to convey that to the backend, though. Using LDC + arrays ops is often the best thing you can do speed-

Yes it is useful, because "array ops" auto-vectorize well and you can write complex function that are vectorized. It's a bit like expression templates but with compiler support. Typically if something can be written as an ar
