I have observed some of my friends are dismissive of my concerns but a similar issue for them could be described as a crime against humanity. Hypocrisy sounds too harsh. I think we are all too quick to speak. My suggestion would be to liste

I use a hp business desktop with ssds. Think I am up to an i5-6th gen cpu. The advantage this type of box gives you is quietness. It costs about £3 per month to run 24/7.

I've been running my saas on lxc for years. I love that the container is a folder to be copied. Combined with git to push changes to my app all is golden. I tried docker but stuck with lxc.

Following the killing of several key products over the years I don't plan to rely on Google going forward. In this context I am going with Fastmail and custom domains. I am old enough to see my generation has been part of an experiment

I don't want to keep in touch with more people than I have digits. I would call the desire to do so marketing; that is marketing yourself or your business. Which is fine if this is your motivation. Friendship is your partner who sticks

My life has been tech and making things (outdoors) as a hobby for quite a few years. Working on physical projects has been an antidote to sitting on my rear all week.

Become morbidly obese or eat less high calorie food and walk 2 miles a day. I just spent 20 years being fat and now wonder what I was thinking. I am a healthy weight now with a remnant of stretched skin. Garbage in, garbage stay.
