First we will support ftp/sftp deploy to any host. We have integration with different hosting companies on the roadmap. You could use our service as an staging environment directly, because you can launch instances with just one click.

Code completion is already integrated, plus documentation for all the WP functions in the IDE. You can search the codex straight from the IDE or see all the details of a WordPress function by clicking on it in the code.

Yes, it could be used, we are working on git integration so you can push to git from the IDE. WPide takes care of launching instances, each one starts in it's own VM with everything it needs installed.

Right now you can export or download site+database. We have git integration and deployment via FTP/SFTP on the list.

It's not yet integrated with roots, it will have ssh access to the machine so you can install other applications but we will look more into this. Thank you.

You can have ssh access, that's not yet implemented but it's on the list. All the instances run in their own private containers so you can install other apps if you want.
