I was going to mention Shadow. I see quite a few people who want to play PCVR games using it if they don't have a PC up to the job. Also with VR, many people use 'VirtualDesktop' to link between a PC and the Oculus Quest wire

I'd never heard of Daily.co before. Looks great! Nice work. I'm about to start building out an idea I've had based on WebRTC/MediaSoup/nginx-RTMP and ffmpeg. (But not for 'live' video calls though). And ha

I'd say it's more like they're getting search data from Google. eg: I search on some medical condition (which I might or might not have) and the next thing I know, all Taboola 'chumbox' blocks are littered with

About six years ago, I built a similar app for an old long-distance (many timezones away) girlfriend and I to send voice messages to eachother. (called 'duovox' - not released to public). It created recordings and other metadata&

True. The build times are slow. But the recent versions (and updating is also a breeze - mostly) should be faster. And particularly if you drop support for ES5 browsers.

AngularJS was indeed a bit of a pain when we switched to Angular 2+ and beyond, but it was so worth it. I chose it because of the skillset that our current (small) team has. There's no way our 'designer' (more an HTML/CS

I've always been amazed that Apple did the camera bulge. I'm quite sure that an iPhone not being able to lay flat on a table without wobbling would have caused Steve Jobs to throw it at whoever designed it.

Have you tried different WiFi channels? I had a similar experience to this years ago while working at my mother's kitchen table for while. The network would keep going dead and I had no idea what was causing it. Eventually, I discovere

Surprised to see no support for playlists. I would have thought .m3u would have been relatively easy to add playback support for. Though, that would present a further UI/UX hurdle.

The issue with kids is a constant topic on the FB Quest groups. I agree, it really can ruin most multi-player games. Second Life used to have a similar issue iirc, until they created dedicated world for them. The groups are also littered wi

My point was really that it's GitLab's own product. "GitLab Mattermost" [ https://docs.gitlab.com/omnibus/gitlab-mattermost/ ] I'm amazed they use Slack at all. Let alone as a fallback.
