Ara you joking mate? As long as you are/get good enough (I don't mean Facebbok/Google/etc good, just able to develop usable stuff) in a relevant field, you'll find good jobs and good pay in IT in most developed coun

Cheers mate! As someone who always lived in the "Western World", it's very refreshing to see some reasonable thought about facts and context concerning a "non NATO" country, even if it's rather in the comments

A "a fun, let's make some provocative predictions type article" sounds like something very unprofessional to me. Also there seems to be a suspicious pattern of claiming exactly that after such an embarrassing prediction is m

Agreed. The deliberate ignoring the whole world outside FB/Google is a alarming sign that the idea is just to get blog reads by piggybacking the last bombastic statement by someone famous in the sw industry.

I believe your comment is spot on mate. "Traditional" news media may even "lie less" than the average political blogger and the likes, but they have an army of competent communication boffins who know how to extract what

WE couldn't control the content. But do we even know who was controlling what should be shown/investigated/high lined or not? Or what makes a "credible" font?

Thanks for pointing that out. I'm sick of news agencies simply echoing this kind of nonsense as if it was "what everyone thinks" for no special reason.

So if you deprive kids of 2 things (internet AND social interaction) for 8h, you can safely infer all abnormal behaviours were caused by the lack of only one of those things? Also, as someone else mentioned, the "study" appears to

Well put mate. It's just too convenient to experiment/develop manipulation of people's perception of reality in such a context (ISIS). Who can complain about it without risking being called a which, oops, a terrorist?

I can only imagine how much head ache they had until someone came up with the "Shape" to add an extra 'S' in order to avoid the "SS" acronym. Fun and games aside, it seems a great idea.
