You might have seen the preview few months ago. I’ve ported QEMU to iOS complete with JIT support and it can run Windows XP, ArchLinux, etc pretty well on latest Apple hardware (no jailbreak needed!). Since then we’ve added a console mode,

They stole the logo and name of the well known Hackintosh bootloader (OpenCore)—-none of the developers are involved with this scam and are pretty pissed about it.

I'm not a hacker so my reverse engineering is about getting TB3 working on OSX instead of attacking it but it requires the same level of understanding. I have personally tested flashing modified ARC code on Alpine and Titan ridge and c

Boot Guard is not implemented on most (all?) self built machines and a lot of pre-builts as well. But even if it is enabled, UEFI variables are not protected at all. You can disable Secure Boot just by overwriting UEFI variables and then bo

This is the kind of garbage that the infosec community often memes about. A marketing website, a domain name, a cute logo for a vanity project masquerading as security research. Basically every one of the "seven" vulnerabilities b

Since Intel/AMD also designs the processor they can also put in backdoors beyond ME, microcode updates, etc. If you don’t trust proprietary blobs, I respect that. But you can’t trust proprietary silicon either.

Related: I’ve wrote a (maybe not 100% accurate) low level summary of the x86 secure boot model here a while ago https://osy.gitbook.io/hac-mini-guide/details/secure-boot

We’re referring to the ability to remap RX memory as RW without the JIT entitlement which is normally needed to map RWX pages. The author calls it an (ab)use because mapping RWX is prohibited by the system but RW+RX in aliased memory which

Because it’s fun to do and it’s cool to play with. I want to run a Linux development machine on my iPad. I couldn’t care less about making money or growth hacking or starting a side hussle or one of the dozen other reasons why people here b

Most of the development was done on my free time in a span of three months. Then I got bored and didn’t touch it for half a year and decided to polish it up a little last week and release it.

Thanks! If you’re interested please fork the project on github and make a PR when you’re ready. I want this project eventually to be community run so I’m not going to be “in charge” of anything.

You can’t purchase such a profile. Apple doesn’t ever give them out.

I think the jailbreak IPA signing isn’t working because it needs the `get-task-allow` entitlement which idk if every tool is aware of. This entitlement is only given out in development profiles and not any distribution profiles so I can’t u

Hi, author here. I’m here to answer any questions but also I want to advertise the fact that it would be really really awesome if interested devs can join the project. Currently it’s just me doing this on my spare time for the past year. Sp
