I remember that it used to be a choice between Unity and Torque 3D if you wanted a solid 3D engine + integrated toolset. My guess ( I've been out of the loop in making games for a while ) is that this is related to pressure from the success

I'm in the same sore spot with a Put.IO ( http://put.io ) iOS client I've been writing. I think it could be luck of the draw based on who is reviewing at the time.

I think github is a nice choice for a site like this, you could even do a rudimentary look through their public repositories to see what languages they generally use and give targeted examples.

I'm glad to see that someone commented his S.H.A.M.E project link in the comments down under the original article, to the point that it's worth re-linking here: http://shameproject.com/profile/malcolm-gladwell-2/ I read the Tipping point

I agree with all the current opinions, but I still donated, an iOS dev friend of mine really misses the three20 libraries ability to apply CSS. I like the idea of doing it properly but to be honest I'd expect that someone would release an o

I've always found that talking to people that actually use a project as an inspiration to keep working on things. That and find small ways to measure progress. Get something small and working out then iterate fast.
