I don't agree with this ban. I also don't understand how a non-judicial US arbitration applies to the UK or in Europe. It shouldn't. From the book authors perspective, signing the severance (and by definition taking the payou

They’re all political animals. Alex karp Is just gunning for a bigger share of the govt and defense data market. When you read the Anthropic and DoD (or DoW) saga, Anthropic ceo was happy to provide exceptions for use of clause.

The H1B has “speciality” categories. You can lay off in one “speciality” while hiring for others. It’s silly but that’s how it’s setup at the moment. I agree with you. The category list in H1B needs to be trimmed. So that companies have les

Have you used Palantir or know the infra on how it provides services? Or just giving sound bites you’ve read on media? You can mandate an installation on self managed infra. We install / use it on a completely self managed cloud instal

One works for money. And money is important. Ethics isn’t going pay mortgage, send kids to university and all that other stuff. I’m not going to do things that are obviously illegal. But if I get a requirement that needs to be met and then

My problem is that c suite equates “vibe coding” and what you need is spec driven dev. Spec driven dev is good software engineering practice. It’s been cast aside in the name of “agile” (which has nothing to do with not doing docs - but tha

No. No childs life is worth some hypothetical regime change. There is no greater evil in this scenario than a hypothetical greater good attempts at justifying this.

Homicide in US cities is an inner city issue. It's not mainstream. There's bad areas - stay out of them. It depends if pick pocketing is ubiquitous or prevalent only in specific places.

Yeah - probably. Didn’t Microsoft have Chinese engineers work classified government stuff? I guess if you have the muscle to brush off legal action from the govt you’re ok. If you’re an unsuspecting startup - that could be a problem.

Maybe with LLM/Code Assistance this effort reduces? Since we're mostly talking mathematics here, you have well defined algorithms that don't need to be "vibed". The codegen, hopefully, is consistent.
