Juniors on one of the teams I work with only write this kind of tests. It’s tiring, and I have to tell them to test the behaviour, not the implementation. And yet every time they do the same thing. Or rather their AI IDE spits these out.

Duralex uses (used?) a special glass that made the glass bounce off the floor several times before breaking, and most times it didn’t break. That’s also why canteens loved it.

There is a case in between: sometimes the issues are too overwhelming and you can’t start fixing them until the pills give you the space you need to address them and get to a position where you can quit the pills.

Why? Also, I’ve always had a rider in my contracts that said the insurer waives their right to not pay if I’m at fault. I don’t know why this rider even exists but I always get it since it was first offered to me years ago.

FWIW I have a kobo Clara HD from circa 2018 with koreader and I see no reason to upgrade. You can definitely get a used one for less than 200$ It has wifi, you can replace the SD card inside, and it has two backlights (cold and warm)

Is this really all it takes? I’m curious because for me the value of heroku etc is not the PaaS itself but the infra: hardening the server, load balancing, redundancy, monitoring, alerting, connectivity, storage… and that’s always the hole
