You’re asking for it to happen sooner because you don’t like your job. You’re not the only inhabitant of this planet, and it would be much better for the rest of us (and you!) if you found a job or career you can better tolerate. You’ll be

The rest of us would prefer that this doesn’t happen and that you find a more fulfilling job/career. Everybody wins then.

I should have added "considering". Many of my friends' TVs take 20, 30, sometimes even longer between pressing the "on" button (from standby) and actually showing an image/letting you navigate any menu because

I don’t know if they still sell Panasonic OLED in North America, but I can buy it easily in Europe. OLED is nice, I don’t regret my choice. But yes indeed if you only ever watch in a very bright room, you might not get most of the benefit f

I had to choose between a Panasonic OLED and a LG OLED when buying a TV. I went with Panasonic and don’t regret it for a second. The TV turns on in 10 seconds flat from standby to picture, there are no ads anywhere (it’s just not a thing Pa

Yes, I’m not saying it’s impossible. I still need to travel to my residence country’s capital which is several hours away and not free to get to in order to cast my vote in person. That’s quite a hurdle and I’m not surprised that participat

It’s already a difficult to convince people to use signal instead of WhatsApp, FB messenger, iMessage, etc… if it requires a new phone with sideloaded software etc, I won’t have many people to text anymore.

I wish they made it easier to vote in these EU elections. I live abroad. For me to cast my vote I’d have to physically travel to my country’s embassy which is several hours travel away return during the voting hours. Or give proxy to someon

Probably. I don’t think it’s much more than the cost of shrinking everything down and shaving 1/2 mm off your design or engineering a whole protocol, chips, and software to pair components together and implement “features” at the OS le
