It depends on the instrument. 128 positions is well enough for piano. From other instruments, drums is the one I know best, and there single parameter is just not enough: the result depends on velocity, the position where the stick hits dru

> Main reason why an if statement returns a value is because it is used to test if condition is true or false. Uh, no. The condition itself is true or false. The return value is useful for assigning, passing as parameter, etc. Non-return

What's the difference between ternary operator and inline if/else? Is there even any reason for if/else that doesn't return a value (that may be void/unit/similar)? It is also obvious that Java version of the v

Do you get results for goland? I don't have experience with it in particular, but to me it seems Google considers CLion, Rider and IDEA interchangeable.

The "easy" notation for play along is pure horror. If this is expected to be helpful in practicing reading music, it should at least use standard notation.

Windows 2000 SP3 was felt really nice compared to constant crashing with 95/98 and XP's ugly UI and again increased crashes. But if you try 2000 now, it's clumsy and it was only SP3 that was finally stable. XP could be easily

Enterprise is also the inspiration behind Dilbert. I agree that Windows is nowhere as bad as it was in the 90s and early 2000s and OS X isn't as good as it was in 2014, but software development on Windows is still slightly painful.

It is easier to develop high quality app for iOS than Android. With iOS, there are only relatively few different devices, they behave almost the same and most of the users are running up to date OS. On the other hand, there are too many And

Planes are also moving at roughly 10x driving speeds and air resistance is roughly relative to second power of speed. And they climb to 10 km for the trip. At this kind of numbers gut feeling is guaranteed to go wrong.

The things that become trash are usually pre-sorted. It's not that difficult to not throw them in the same bin. If we get started about national stereotypes, maybe it's too difficult for Americans.

Is this a cultural thing? In Finnish 5" 1/4 used to be known as "lerppu" (floppy) and 3.5" as "korppu" (twice baked bread) but I've never heard that English would have specific words for these.
