This browser looks ok, but stuff like this turns me off from using it. Single-developer projects are always risky. What if the dev just decides to stop developing it? Or there's a massive vulnerability, and they're on vacation wit

Very well designed. I'd recommend saving the current state in the URL parameters, so you can share it (or save the link for yourself). Also, open-sourcing it would be cool.

Interesting, also, Apple should make a mid-tier of iCloud. If they had a 500gb (or 400 or whatever) they could have gotten this guy to pay more.

SwiftUI is pretty good, I've been using to build an app. The big problem is navigation and state handling, it's not intuitive (although I never used AppKit or UIKit so I can't say if it's better or worse)

The JS ecosystem is so goofy. Stuff like this, leftpad, and dozens more happen. Doesn't happen to literally any other programming language (or maybe I just haven't paid attention to others)

I wanted to do this myself but I don't have enough messages yet. Also, I wish the author shared some more technical information on how to do it.

Didn't know this was a thing. Pretty cool, but doesn't seem like it'd work over long distances.

You can't rely on colors to indicate status because someone might be colorblind. That's an often overlooked problem. You have to make the light do something special, like blink, if you really need it to indicate something importan

The MagSafe cable still has an LED in it, it's green when you're fully charged and orange when it's charging. But I agree, Apple is good about not annoying you with LEDs.

This seems like way too much work when people have been doing things like this in different ways for years (just look at Replit, it runs a full IDE and runs on 4gb Chromebooks). Maybe I'm misunderstanding this project, but you don'

Here's my favorite site for downloading YouTube videos. https://github.com/micahlt/vesper It's made by a friend of mine, I thought he had a writeup about it, but I can't find it.

That's crazy. I'm glad SpaceX has pushed the competition forwards. In making their rockets better, they've made the whole space industry better.

Apple Silicon devices can get the same performance as a desktop in a laptop size. The only reason to get a desktop is if you need the Ultra chip. And, the laptop gives you extra freedom for very, very little sacrifice (at least for Apple Si
